Goulds 3SD Series Submersible Sewage Pump, 3 HP, 1 Phase

The Goulds 3SD Series Non-Clog Submersible Sewage Pump Dual Seal With Seal Sensor Probe is designed for sewage, effluent, and wastewater applications, and is capable of handling sewage containing non-abrasive 2-1/2 inch maximum solids.

The pump features a cast iron, two-vane semi-open, non-clog impeller with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection, and is balanced for smooth operation. A silicon bronze impeller is available as an option.

The heavy-duty cast iron, volute-type casing is designed for maximum efficiency, and the 3" flange conforms to the 125 # ANSI standard, allowing it to connect to the A10-30 guide rail system.

The pump is equipped with dual mechanical seals, with the silicon carbide vs. silicon carbide outer seal and ceramic vs. carbon inner seal, and stainless steel metal parts and BUNA-N elastomers. The upper and lower shaft seals are positioned independently and are separated by an oil-filled chamber.

The Seal Sensor Probe, located in the oil-filled chamber, is designed to detect if the pumpage begins to leak past the lower seal, indicating a fault has occurred, and requires an optional Seal Fail Circuit in the control panel.

The 300 series stainless steel keyed design shaft and fasteners ensure the pump is capable of running dry without damage to its components.
